EU food enzymes legislation

Regulation (EC) No 1332/2008 on food enzymes - the so called 'Framework regulation' - harmonised the rules on food enzymes for the first time in the EU.

Regulation (EC) No 1331/2008 of 16 December 2008 establishes the common authorisation procedure for food additives, food enzymes and food flavourings.
